Welcome to the Westhaven Marina Users Association Inc Website.

Here you will find information on the Association and its activities regarding the management of the Westhaven Marina.

The Association represents approximately 1400 people who keep their boats in Westhaven.

The marina is reputably the largest in The Southern Hemisphere. It is home to three of New Zealand’s leading yacht clubs including The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.

The Association’s aim is to ensure that our members continue to enjoy access to good quality marina berths and pile moorings at fair rents or attractive long term licence arrangements.
    
We work with Waterfront Auckland the current manager of the marina to ensure that the water and land based facilities and services provided to our members meet their needs.

Westhaven is a valuable asset which has great amenity potential. It currently provides in addition to its mooring facilities recreational water space and on shore side accommodation for

Sailing Schools
Disabled Sailing Clubs

These services and facilities are provided by Westhaven without public funding contributions.

Westhaven Marina contributes a significant amount of cash to Auckland council.

Westhaven is currently undergoing significant development which will improve services and increase public access to this unique area. There are plans to create walkways and buildings creating areas where Aucklanders can enjoy walking jogging cycling and sightseeing.

Once development is completed Westhaven will take its place as an iconic part of Auckland’s Waterfront.

Our Association’s aim is to participate in this exciting change process ensuring that the site remains a viable vibrant working Marina.
